In-pad detection of UTIs
TENA U-test is an integrated in-pad detection device for collecting and analysing urine. It’s a unique way of detecting UTIs in incontinent individuals. No separate urine collection is required. The in-pad solution has been successfully evaluated in a clinical trial and proven to improve individual well-being and working environment for carers.
Quick, non-intrusive and comfortable
TENA U-test is quick, non-intrusive and comfortable for the individual to wear. No separate urine collection is required. Both urine collection and analysis take place while the device is in the pad. Painful catheterisation is avoided and the individual is spared unnecessary discomfort.
Integrates into regular pad-changing routines
TENA U-test is easily integrated into normal pad-changing routines. This gives carers less workload, improves efficiency and allows more time for more rewarding care.
Easy to use
