TENA SmartCare Change Indicator™ helps caregivers decide when to change incontinence products, providing increased wellbeing for those in their care. A vital component of the system is the transmitter, which together with a sensor strip makes up the Change Indicator that is attached to the outside of the TENA incontinence product. The sensor strip tracks the urine saturation level of the incontinence product, and the transmitter forwards the information via a gateway to enable notifications to appear in the caregiver’s smartphone.

There is no charging required. The transmitter runs on a battery that lasts for approximately three months. When the battery is low, a blinking light will appear.

Designed for two years of use

The transmitter can be used for approximately two years before it needs to be replaced.
