Thanks to these efforts, we’ve reduced the carbon footprint across our range of absorbent products in Europe by 17–46% between 2008 and 2024 – according to third-party-reviewed Life Cycle Assessments conducted by Essity.

We use Life Cycle Assessments to guide individual product innovations and track our progress, ensuring our efforts align with our Science Based Targets. What is carbon footprint?

It measures the total greenhouse gas emissions caused by a person, company or product.

Similarly, the carbon footprint of a TENA product is the total greenhouse gas emissions it produces throughout its life cycle.
